What started as a one-man operation providing basic IT services to small business, quickly grew into a professional consulting firm. We have become valuable resource for our clients and, with our new brand, we aim to become a regional leader in IT & cybersecurity consulting.
Our original company was founded when Steve Muñoz, Sr.noticed that many businesses did not have the appropriate IT and cyber security infrastructure set in place. MTS would build the foundation and guide these businesses as they grew.
From our company’s expanding capabilities a new vision was born. The new direction would enable us to provide full IT infrastructure management and network security clients on a regional level. Our new brand embodies the essence of this vision.
Originally from Guatemala City, Guatemala. Steve began experimenting with programming languages at a very young age. The first languages he learned were COBOL and Pascal. After graduating high school, Steve went to Francisco Marroquín University and studied to become a Software Engineer. He received his certification from Microsoft In 2002, soon after Steve and his family moved to Dallas TX where he started working for an IT consulting firm. Four years later he started doing freelance work for clients. It wasn’t until a few years later that he decided it was time to create Muñoz Technology Services.
Steve Jr. started developing a passion for technology at the ripe old age of thirteen when he discovered that electronics could be brough tapart and put back together again. Steve received his Cisco Certification while he was in high school. He is currently studying Systems Administration and Business at UT
